Now that the site is officially 'launched' I wanted to say a few things about what it has been like to work with you.
First let me mention your availability. How astonishing to have such easy and regular communication, to be able to ask questions or state concerns and have them addressed that day or the next (and we are fifteen hours apart.) It wasn't like working with a business; it was like working with a friend.
Your dedication to making it all work went way beyond anything I expected or even knew about - the page optimization I understood conceptually, but you knew how to do it right. And you did it. All that painful stuff I was trying to slog through you took off my shoulders and accomplished with alacrity.
Doing a newsletter and a blog I never would have thought to do – the rss feeds, the affiliate programs I am now subscribed to, the submitting to search engines, encouraging me to upload the articles that bring so much more traffic to the site – all this went far beyond my understanding, capabilities and expectations. Not only did I have no idea how to do those things, I had no idea even that they could or should be done, and now I know both the value of doing them and how to do them myself to continue increasing traffic to my site. Which is kind of amazing considering how foreign and off-putting I used to find all this stuff.
In a world in which professionalism is an occasional and all too infrequent encounter, it is more than a pleasure to work with someone who takes her work so seriously and does it so thoroughly.
